Arthur Public School is a large K-8 rural school in the Village of Arthur. In addition to serving the Village, many students attend from the surrounding rural areas including portions of West Luther, West Garafraxa and Arthur Townships. Approximately eighty percent or our student population is bused.

Students graduating from grade eight at Arthur Public School attend Wellington Heights Secondary School or Norwell District Secondary School in Palmerston in the case of those attending specialized programs. Arthur Public School has an active Student Council planning a wide-range of activities for pupils of all ages. Our School Council meets regularly and serves as an advisory group to the principal in matters of instruction and school policy. With the support of many parents in our school community, our School Council provides social activities for students and families, and conducts fundraising to provide the extras – equipment, materials and special programs – to help enrich our students' school experience. Parent Volunteers perform a variety of important and valued services in our school.
